Connect Stenz to ChatGPT

ChatGPT can review and operate your tattoo studio through Stenz’s secure remote app. The public ChatGPT listing is not yet published, so the current connection uses ChatGPT developer mode.

You need:

  • an active Stenz artist account;
  • access to ChatGPT Apps settings and developer mode;
  • permission to create apps if your workspace is managed by an administrator.

You do not need an OpenAI API key or a Stenz client secret.

  1. Open Settings → Apps in ChatGPT.

  2. Open the advanced or developer settings and enable developer mode if required.

  3. Create a new app using MCP.

  4. Enter the remote endpoint:

    https://mcp.stenz.app/mcp
  5. Choose OAuth authentication and let ChatGPT scan the available tools.

  6. Select Connect, sign in to Stenz, and review the requested permissions.

  7. Keep only the permissions needed for how you intend to use the assistant, then accept.

Start with a read-only request such as:

Summarize my Stenz workspace without changing anything.

Meaningful writes show a precise preview and require confirmation. Financial, legal, or destructive operations require a recent approval inside Stenz.

ChatGPT stores a snapshot of the tool definitions. Rescan the tools or recreate the draft app after a Stenz MCP schema update.

See permissions and approvals and troubleshooting for more detail.
